Have you ever received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? Do you want the joy of the Lord that you have seen in other Christians? Are you a Christian but doubting your salvation? Securing eternal life with Jesus Christ is as simple as ABC...

ADMIT - Admit to God that you are a sinner. Luke 13:3 says "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish". Repent, turning away from your sin. Romans 3:23 says: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" and Romans 6:23 follows with the hard consequences for that sin, Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." As you can see with that consequence there is an answer. It's a gift. That gift is offered to you and all you have to do is accept it. Follow the teaching of John, 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

BELIEVE - Believe that Jesus is God's Son and accept God's gift of forgiveness from sin. John 3:16 tells us: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." He does not want us to perish. John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." There is no alternate way to get to heaven. Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." To not believe on His Son is to burn in the lake of fire but he doesn't want that for us. Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Allow Him to love you. Believe on His Son and the love shown by His death on the cross. Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Belief on any other name will not do it and neither will your good works get you there. John 1:11-13 "He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."

CONFESS - Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. From Romans 10:9-10&13 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

So now what? Well the best thing to do if you agree with what was said above is to bow your head in prayer. The prayer can be as simple as "Lord, I'm a sinner lost in my sin. I need You in my life. I believe You came, died on the cross and rose again the third day. I believe that You did this for my sins. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my life. Thank You for Your free gift of salvation."

If you have truly prayed this and believe in your heart, then you are eternally secure. Hebrews 13:5b "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
